The booth motto is ZERO HUNGER. Because BEHN + BATES has been committed to making a small contribution to reducing hunger worldwide through machinery technology for some time now. An example of this is the support of a project in Syria, where bakeries are repaired, flour is supplied, and bread is distributed to those in need. For optimal processing of valve bags, a customized filling system tailored to the specific requirements of food products and the characteristics of the valve bags being filled is crucial. As a guarantee for efficiency, precision, and reliability, the pneumatic packer seamlessly integrates into existing production lines and adapts to various bag sizes and materials.
BEHN+BATES' pneumatic packer has proven itself as a reliable solution in industrial applications over the years, particularly for filling a variety of food products such as starches, flours, proteins, and sugar. At Anuga FoodTec, the packaging experts are showcasing the latest version of the packer, which ensures a uniform product discharge from the filling vessel with high filling performance, low air consumption, and minimal amounts of returned spillage. The precise dosing of the filling flow is controlled by the product-specific adjustable dosing unit. The use of low-wear components reduces maintenance efforts, while the established BEHN+BATES filling nozzle with inflatable sleeve ensures a perfect bag seal during filling, leading to minimal cleaning requirements.

The automatic bag applicator, RADIMAT®, efficiently positions empty valve bags onto the filling spouts of the packaging machine, adjusting to its speed. At Anuga FoodTec, the latest development in the RADIMAT® family, the RADIMAT-PATHFINDER, will be introduced. This solution is distinguished by its secure, reliable, and automated transportation of individual empty bags over longer distances to the filling spout for placement. This unique feature allows for storing empty bags at a specific distance from the packer, ideal for optimal utilization of available space.

At Anuga FoodTec, Feige FILLING introduces the new ELEMENTRA 16 with second scale base, which comes in a fresh stainless-steel design, equipped with the new FEIGE WEB HMI. It showcases their diverse semi-automatic product range, highlighting specific designs tailored to various products. The semi-automatic pallet filling station advertises the equipment variant Servo Technology FEIGE ePower, where the basic height adjustment and lifting unit are electrically operated. Notably, the ELEMENTRA 16 with a second scale base allows filling both large and small containers on one filling machine.

TERRAM bag palletizer from NEWTEC BAG – A perfect pallet as the best business card
At Anuga FoodTec, NEWTEC BAG will show the latest orientation clamp – one of the essential modules of the TERRAM palletizer for optimal and swift bag alignment before palletizing. With the introduction of TERRAM 800 G, NEWTEC BAG has revolutionized the palletizing of 5 to 50 kg bags filled with food products (starch, flours, cocoa powder). It is compatible with all bag types (valve bags or open-mouth bags made of paper, PP, PE, or FFS bags) and achieves a performance of up to 800 bags per hour, depending on the bag type, product, palletizing pattern, and pallet height.
The compact TERRAM palletizer offers ground-level bag feeding for enhanced safety and easy access for maintenance work. The palletizing quality is guaranteed by the precise placement of bags on two deposit trays using a robotic gripper, securely holding the bags on all four sides.
